Hello Hello! It has been what? 4 months since my last post.
I have no excuses, i know we all say that life gets so busy, time just flies and i can use all of those excuses but i think the truth is I'm not really good at writing, funny enough when i was growing up one of the things i wanted to be was a writer, don't ask me where i got this from because I'm the worst writer ever. Every time i write a post i promise myself that i will post more often but you know...there always so many things that pop up and come on your way that you need to sort out and the list just gets bigger and bigger
I love expressing my feelings however I'm not very good at making proper sentences, but hey this is who i am...and i guess when you are growing up you do things to find yourself or be like someone else and then you get old and you realise that you are not so bad after all and you are pretty comfortable on your own skin.
But i guess this is just life, we lost ourselves and find ourselves again and this goes on forever.
Anyway i'm going to have my dinner i'm starving!!

That has been a lot of talking about cheaper photographers, photographers that charge too much and blah blah blah...It is a very hard topic and I think they there are customers for everyone out there and it also depending on what your budget is or what you are looking for out, not saying that budget photographers are terrible and expensive photographers are amazing, I see photography as an art form and I think everyone has a different style and different eye for things and it is up to the bride and the groom to decide what is important for you and finding the right person for you, I often tell my clients that to find your right photographer is not finding the right budget for you there are a lot more things involved in that, how about getting along with your photographer,

I personally think that is the best way to get good photos, if you are not comfortable with your photographer i can guarantee that you won't like your photos, that you will looked posed for all the images, you won't get a natural smile out of you. the other big thing when meeting with your photographer is asking to see a full wedding, not just an album, see the whole thing, beginning to end and ask how many photos do you get, how long does it take for the photos to be ready and so on!

After all you are paying us and you need to make sure you are getting what you are after, if the photographer doesn't want change things for you, I wouldn't even bother, i think photographers need to be flexible and try and help their clients as much as they can specially if they are paying all this money.

I have met so many people that weren't happy with their wedding photos and it makes me sad, it is such a special day, it is for many people the most special day of your life and you don't have nice photos to remember that...or i have people as well that were happy with the photos but they hated the photographer on the day, that he was either way too pushy or was making the bridal party do all sorts of crazy things, that is why i say research about photographer before going for a meeting, word of mouth is the best advertising someone can have.

However please brides and grooms don't judge a photographer if they charge a bit more, really today if a photographer is too cheap is either because they are trying to get more experience, building a portfolio, they probably don't do photography full time and etc...they are not trying to make a career out of it.

Photographers that charge a little more are trying to make a living out this job just like everyone else is in their on career, we work just as hard as everyone else, even if a lot of people out there think we just take photos and go home and that's it, things are a lot more complicate them that!

Anyway my point this, brides and grooms find what you are after, prioritise your wedding, are photos important for you, i hear a lot of people saying i just want a few photos to remember the ceremony, well, even with a few photos a good quality photographer will ask you all the right questions to make sure when you look back at those "few photos" that you remember how beautiful you looked how amazing day you had, getting what you need and meeting with your photographer is very important, ask them questions, we have been at a few weddings we know how things flow.

Hello everyone! I has been so long since I have posted here and I guess I just have been so busy but also time just seems to slip off our hands and we never seem to get enough done.

I have been so lucky to photograph some amazing people and have been part of some very special moments.

The end of the year made me really think about my life, my dreams and my future, we all have dreams and some are easier to get them other.

My dream is keep doing what i am doing, keep making people happy...I had an amazing 2011 and I feel that 2012 is going to be bigger than ever.

Hello everyone!
This last couple of weeks have been so busy which is fantastic for me! I'm very excited about everything that has been happening.
My little business is really growing and I'm starting to feel like I'm making a difference into a lot of people lives, I'm there for the most special day of their lives either if it is their wedding day or the pregnancy photos or a newborn photos...They are all meaningful and to know that these people have trusted my skills is something that I can't even explain.
The last 2 days have been so busy! I have had 6 bookings in 2 days, I'm so happy that I actually had a tear in my eyes today, I have worked so hard to be where I am now and to know that I haven't changed who I am along the way, to know that I'm still the same person, down to earth, having fun and most of all still have lots of passion for what I do.
I have now nearly 29 weddings for next year and 8 in March alone and 6 in November it really makes me one of the happiest person alive!
I also want to start doing more pregnancy photos as I really enjoy it, also newborn photos as they are the cutest things ever!

Anyway I'm off to eat some dinner and do some more editing before I go to bed, in saying that It is probably going to take a while to sleep as I had 2 coffees today!

I have to start blogging at least once a week, I want all my clients to know me in a different level, in a more personal level. 

Everyone that really knows me would say well that's not hard at all as my life is really an open book.

This week has been raining lots in Perth, and I have been meaning to take some photos, however with the amount of work I have been doing it is very hard to find time.

Some people would say you have to make the time to do what you want to do, well my partner would most probably say that, or he would say Tracey! you need to focus, well i'm not very good at that! 

I have now over 221 fans on my facebook pages and I know for lots of business 221 is nothing however for someone like me, this means the world, to think about 221 people took the time to look through my photos, maybe even my website or my blog, it is pretty cool! It is like doing a speech in front of 221 people! i couldn't never do that! Well I'm a little shy sometimes, not often tho! most people that know me would say i'm not shy at all!

I have only been in the industry for about 3 years, and most of my work comes from word of month so this is really rewarding from me, the other day one of my beautiful couples Jade&Justin came to my office to collect their album and they bought me flowers! I was so happy, not because they bought something but because they must have felt that I had done a good job in their wedding, I felt so rewarded that i cried like a baby! To know that I have a talent and a love for something and to know that i do a good job at it is so special that I'm lost for words.

Last week it was pretty busy, I had a few meetings with couples, a few enquiries and a lovely pregnancy photoshoot on Sunday, It was so beautiful! I love the connection between a mother and a baby

I can't believe we are in the end of October already!
I'm starting to decorate my house and preparing for xmas!!!
I have had an amazing year! I wanted to thank all my brides and grooms that have believed in me and have trusted me in their most special day, and I truly hope that I have made your day even more special by providing you a memory for the rest of your life.

Yesterday was a very special day Jade and Justin, a beautiful bride and groom i had the pleasure of photographing about a month ago came to collect their album and prints and they brought me flowers! I was so surprise and embarrassed about it and I have to admit after they left I cried a little, It is so rewarding to know that I have done a good enough job for these people and they were happy with the outcome, I was lost for words...
